Process & Workflow Print E-mail

PROCESS is the fundamental building-block which spreads via workflow throughout the organization like a web or an electrical circuit. MMC cann provide detailed process and workflow reviews in all types of working environments. The process determines, and is always responsible, for the outcome. If the process is not critically and repeatedly reviewed though analysis and measures it cannot be sustained or improved upon. In my experience, new models advocating a LEAN process, an innovative process, Six Sigma and others are dependant upon a process of critical review. Process

Process is therefore the corner stone of quality control and quality assurance and the management of all process is vital. Empirical evidence has shown that poor output is the result of either a single or a number of process failures where management have either turned a blind eye, in order to save money or time, or have not established adequate controls or measures. This includes innovative as well as human-machine and mechanical processes.Naturally, the purpose of a process is to reproduce a specific effort (electrical, mechanical, decisional and physical) consistently with an objective to achieve a desired outcome which is either constant or innovative.

Process analysis management in Cross-Training consists of focus group/s (from within the process and interrelated processes within the macro- and micro landscape that are familiar with said workflow, workload and synergy) with the responsibility to critically question, review and suggest changes or improvements to the process activities. This is done by looking at: 1) Intention, 2) Significance, 3) Extent, 4) Outputs, 5) Measures, and 6) Resources.

The Cross-Training process involves seven parameters starting with objective, input, knowledge, decision, workload, measure, control, and output. The OIK-DW-MCO process method helps to identify task/objective specifics by conforming data specific information into meaning and knowledge within the working environment. By interpreting the individual process components employees can more easily identify or participate with synergic ideas and improvements in both the micro- and macro-environments.
